Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches. To date, EMDR therapy has helped millions of people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress. 

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

The Internal Family Systems Model (IFS) is an integrative approach to individual psychotherapy developed by Richard C. Schwartz. It combines systems thinking with the view that the mind is made up of relatively discrete subpersonalities each with its own viewpoint and qualities. IFS uses family systems theory to understand how these collections of subpersonalities are organized.

Filial & Play Therapy

Filial therapy is a special kind of play therapy. Literally thousands of families have been helped by this method developed by Bernard and Louise Guerney in the 1960s. It is a unique therapeutic method that involves parents and caregivers directly as the agents of therapeutic change.

Play Therapy uses a variety of play and creative arts techniques to alleviate chronic, mild and moderate psychological and emotional conditions in children that are causing behavioral problems and/or are preventing children from realizing their potential.

The Play Therapist works integratively using a wide range of play and creative arts techniques, mostly responding to the child's wishes.

Restorative Yoga

A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only three to five poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar.

Aromatherapy Consulting

I specialize in making blends for anxiety, depression, neuropathy, chronic pain, inflammation, insomnia, and anything in between. While rigorous research on aromatherapy is limited, we’ve all experienced mood shifts triggered by scent! Inhaled odor molecules stimulate your olfactory receptors, specialized neurons linked directly to the limbic system. This group of brain structures is involved in long-term memory as well as your behavior and mood. It regulates several biological functions tied to emotion, including heart rate, hormone levels, blood pressure and breathing.

Massage & Bodywork

I have been practicing therapeutic massage and bodywork for over 24 years. I am also a Reiki Master/Teacher.  I specialize in cranial-sacral, pregnancy, and abdominal work.  I have years of experience working with people who have been diagnosed with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and chronic pain.
